Stockton scored a season-high 15 runs to snap its five-game losing streak on Tuesday. Nate Mondou, making just his third start of the season at third base, had a big night at the plate for the Ports. The 23-year-old slugged a pair of home runs, a two-run shot in the 5th and a three-run blast in the 7th, and Mondou now leads the team in hits, extra-base hits, runs and RBIs. Catcher Collin Theroux clubbed a three-run homer, while designated hitter William Toffey and first baseman Sandber Pimentel both socked solo shots for Stockton. LHP Evan Manarino turned in a solid start, allowing 2 runs and striking out 8 over 6 innings of work to pick up his 2nd win for the Ports. And with Midland catcher Sean Murphy landing on the disabled list with a finger injury, Stockton catchers Jonah Heim and Jason Goldstein were both promoted from the Ports to the RockHounds, while Midland catcher Santiago Chavez was reassigned to Stockton.
