The River Cats lineup came alive on Friday. Center fielder Jemile Weeks led the way, reaching base 4 times on 2 hits and 2 walks while scoring 3 times and driving in a run. First baseman Daric Barton collected 3 hits and drove in a run, while outfielder Michael Taylor and designated hitter Michael Choice both singled, doubled and drove in a pair of runs for the River Cats. Starter Travis Banwart allowed 2 runs on 6 hits and struck out 6 over 4 2/3 innings of work, while LHP Pedro Viola picked up the win with 1 1/3 scoreless innings in relief.

Third baseman Vinnie Catricala and second baseman Dusty Coleman collected 3 hits apiece, while first baseman Anthony Aliotti had 2 hits, including a double, and drove in a run, and outfielder Chad Oberacker drove in a pair of runs for the RockHounds.

Starter Tanner Peters had a strong outing for Stockton, allowing just 1 run and striking out 6 over 6 innings to earn his 8th win on Friday, while RHP Ryan Dull got the final 3 outs for his 4th save. Shortstop Addison Russell and outfielder Myrio Richard both doubled, while first baseman Max Muncy, third baseman B.A. Vollmuth and designated hitter Tony Thompson drove in a run apiece for the Ports.

Starter Vince Voiro allowed 5 runs on 9 hits over 3 2/3 innings of work, while RHP David Mota tossed 2 scoreless innings in relief to earn the win.
