Designated hitter Arismendy Alcantara had a big game in his return to Nashville on Monday. The 24-year-old collected 4 hits, including a home run and a double, and drove in 4 runs, while third baseman Renato Nunez singled, hit his team-leading 15th home run and drove in 2 runs, and first baseman Rangel Ravelo homered and drove in a pair. Starter Ross Detwiler allowed 4 runs over 6 innings of work to earn his 2nd win for the Sounds. And with Oakland optioning RHP Jesse Hahn back to Nashville on Monday, Max Muncy was recalled by the A’s.

Catcher Beau Taylor had a pair of hits, while shortstop Yairo Munoz and right fielder Tyler Marincov both doubled, and third baseman Matt Chapman and first baseman Viosergy Rosa each drove in a run for the RockHounds.

LHP Jared Lyons got the final two outs for his 5th save, while first baseman Chris Iriart clubbed a 3-run homer, and right fielder Brett Siddall singled, doubled and drove in a run for the Snappers.

First baseman Charley Gould had 3 hits, including a grand slam in the 3rd inning to give the A’s the lead, and ended up driving in 6 runs on the night, while second baseman Josh Vidales singled twice, doubled twice and drove in 2.
