Third Baseman Renato Nunez pretty much took care of things single-handedly for Stockton on Monday night. Brugman joined the Stockton outfield from Beloit after Billy McKinney was traded and Herschel “Boog” Powell was suspended. Powell was banned for 50 games after testing positive for a banned amphetamine. RHP Tim Atherton returned to the Ports after making an emergency start for Sacramento this weekend, and RHP Rodolfo Fernandez was assigned to Stockton after being acquired from the Brewers on Monday.
