RHP Tim Atherton delivered his most impressive start for Stockton on Saturday, allowing just 1 run on 5 hits while striking out 10 over 6 innings to earn his 2nd win. RHP Ryan Doolittle tossed 2 scoreless innings in relief, and RHP Tucker Healy got the final 3 outs for his 1st save. First baseman Ryon Healy had his best day yet at the plate for the Ports, collecting his 1st homer and his 2nd triple, while catcher Bruce Maxwell had 3 hits, including a double, and drove in a run in the win.

RHP Ronald Herrera turned in another strong start for the Snappers, striking out 5 over 5 scoreless innings to earn his 2nd win on Saturday. Outfielders Herschel “Boog” Powell and B.J. Boyd each had 3 hits, including a homer, and drove in 3 runs apiece. Powell’s round-tripper was his 1st professional homer since being drafted by the A’s in the 20th round in June of 2012. And outfielder Tyler Marincov also added a single and a double and drove in a pair of runs in the win.
