Down by 10 runs entering the bottom of the 8th inning, the RockHounds put 10 runs on the board in the 8th and ended up recording a surprising victory in extra innings on Sunday. Catcher Collin Theroux clubbed the Hounds’ only home run of the day, hitting a three-shot in the 8th, and also singled and walked twice in the game. Third baseman Jonah Bride doubled, singled twice, drew a walk and drove in a pair, while designated hitter JJ Schwarz doubled, drew a walk and drove in 3, and Mickey McDonald singled in the winning run in the bottom of the 10th as the RockHounds recorded their 11th win in their last 13 games in a walk-off. Starter Kyle Friedrichs allowed 5 runs, 4 earned, over 4 frames, while LHP Aaron Brown tossed 2 scoreless innings in relief to register the win for the RockHounds.
