Monday, September 23rd:
No games scheduled.
Tuesday, September 24th:
Starter Daniel Gossett allowed 1 run and struck out 3 in 3 innings of work to earn the win, while LHP Jhenderson Hurtado tossed 2 scoreless innings in relief. RF Greg Deichmann went 2 for 4 with a two-run homer, and first baseman Alfonso Rivas went 1 for 3 with a double, a walk and an RBI in Mesa’s 8-4 win on Tuesday.
Wednesday, September 25th:
Center fielder Greg Deichmann went 2 for 3 with a home run, drew a walk, was hit by a pitch and drove in 4 runs, while shortstop Nick Allen went 1 for 5 and drove in 2 runs, and RHP Jesus Zambrano struck out 3 in 2 scoreless innings of relief as Mesa won 15-2 on Wednesday.
Thursday, September 26th:
Game cancelled due to rain.
Friday, September 27th:
Center fielder Greg Deichmann went 1 for 4 and threw out a runner at second base, while first baseman Alfonso Rivas went 0 for 3 in Mesa’s 6-1 loss on Friday.
Saturday, September 28th:
Designated hitter Greg Deichmann went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while second baseman Nick Allen went 2 for 4, and first baseman Alfonso Rivas went 1 for 4 and drove in a run. RHP Brady Feigl allowed 2 runs in 1 inning of relief to suffer the loss as Mesa lost 10-3 on Saturday.
Sunday, September 29th:
Starter Daniel Gossett struck out 3 over 3 scoreless innings to earn the win, while LHP Jhenderson Hurtado struck out 2 in 1 scoreless inning of relief, and shortstop Nick Allen went 1 for 4 and drove in a run as Mesa shut out Obregon 7-0 in Obregon, Mexico on Sunday.
