Stockton shut out Modesto on just 2 hits to snap its six-game losing streak on Thursday. Last year’s 5th-round draft pick for the A’s, RHP Brady Feigl, allowed 2 hits while striking out 9 over 6 scoreless innings to earn the win, and the 23-year old has now allowed just 1 earned run and struck out 17 in 11 innings over his first 2 starts for Stockton. RHP Seth Martinez pitched 2 perfect innings in relief, and LHP Pat Krall tossed a scoreless 9th to complete the shutout for the Ports. Center fielder Austin Beck tripled, drew a walk and drove in a run, while first baseman Hunter Hargrove had a pair of hits. Second baseman Trace Loehr doubled, and right fielder Jameson Hannah singled and walked for Stockton in the win.

The Aviators won their fourth straight on Thursday to run their record to 7-1 this season. RHP Paul Blackburn delivered an outstanding start, allowing just 1 unearned run on 5 hits over 7 innings of work to earn his 2nd victory for Las Vegas. Catcher Sean Murphy had a big night at the plate, collecting 4 hits, including a three-run homer and an RBI triple, while shortstop Jorge Mateo singled, tripled and doubled twice. First baseman Seth Brown had 3 hits, including a triple, and drove in 2 runs, and center fielder Tyler Ramirez drew a walk and doubled in a pair for Vegas in the victory.

Starter Parker Dunshee allowed 3 runs, 2 earned, over 5 2/3 frames on Thursday to suffer his 2nd loss for Midland. One night after slugging a grand slam, center fielder Dairon Blanco socked a solo shot and also stole a base and walked twice, while third baseman Edwin Diaz doubled and drew a walk, and left fielder Luke Persico singled twice and drove in a run for the RockHounds in the loss.

The Snappers suffered their second straight loss to the Bees on Thursday. Starter Bryce Conley allowed just 1 run over 5 frames and left the game with a two-run lead. RHP Jeferson Mejia was charged with 3 runs in relief, while RHP Wandisson Charles gave up 1 run over 1 2/3 innings and, after Beloit tied the game in the top of the 8th, RHP Brandon Withers surrendered the tying run in the bottom of the 8th to suffer the loss for the Snappers. First baseman Payton Squier had 3 hits, including a double, and drove in a run, while left fielder Chase Calabuig singled, walked twice and stole a base. Right fielder Logan Farrar had 2 hits and a walk, and catcher Skyler Weber singled twice and drove in a run for the Snappers.
