The Ports prevailed over Visalia in Game #4 on Saturday to tie their best-of-five playoff series and set up a decisive Game #5 on Sunday. Designated hitter Sandber Pimentel once again wielded the big bat, singling in a run in the 2nd inning to give Stockton an early lead it would never surrender and then adding a three-run homer in the 9th. Pimentel is now 6 for 13 with 2 home runs and 7 RBIs in the series. Right fielder Brett Siddall singled twice, walked twice, scored twice and drove in a run, while third baseman Edwin Diaz doubled in a pair. Left fielder Luke Persico singled, doubled and drove in a run, and shortstop Kevin Merrell and catcher Santiago Chavez had a pair of hits apiece for the Ports. RHP Grant Holmes made the start for Stockton and was outstanding, throwing 4 hitless and scoreless frames while striking out 5, and LHP Zack Erwin allowed 2 runs and struck out 6 over 5 innings of work to pick up the win for the Ports.
