Home runs by right fielder Henry Bolte, catcher Brian Serven, second baseman Zack Gelof and first baseman Brett Harris helped lead Las Vegas to victory over Oklahoma City on Wednesday afternoon. Bolte did damage at the plate and on the base paths. The 22-year-old outfielder singled, homered, walked twice, scored 3 runs and swiped a pair of bases, giving him a league-leading total of 4 stolen bases, in 4 attempts, on the season. Serven continued his hot hitting, going 2 for 3 with a home run and a triple, and he’s now gone 9 for 10 over his first 3 games this season. Gelof hit his 3rd home run, tying him for second-most in the league, drew his league-leading 8th walk, stole a base and scored twice, while Harris also homered and drew a walk and increased his RBI total to 9, tying him for second-most in the league. Center fielder Junior Perez singled twice, scored twice, walked and stole a base. Shortstop Drew Swift also singled twice and drove in a pair of runs, including the winning run in the Aviators’ six-run 8th. RHP Chen Zhong-Ao Zhuang made the start and allowed 5 runs, 4 earned, over 4 1/3 frames in his Triple-A debut, while RHP Jack Perkins struck out 4 in 3 scoreless innings of work, and RHP Wander Suero tossed 1 2/3 scoreless innings in relief to pick up the victory for Las Vegas. RHP Kade Morris is set to make the start for Las Vegas on Thursday.
