Designated hitter Colby Halter reached based in each of his plate appearances on Sunday to help the RockHounds record a one-run win over the Missions. The 23-year-old infielder walked and scored the tying run in the bottom of the 1st inning, singled in the 3rd inning, tripled but was left stranded in the 5th, and then doubled in the winning run in the 7th. Halter has now gone 6 for 10 with 3 extra-base hits and 4 RBI over his last 3 games for Midland. Left fielder Clark Elliott singled and was hit by a pitch, while shortstop Drew Swift singled, stole a base and scored a run, and first baseman Luke Mann walked, was hit by a pitch and drove in a run for the RockHounds. RHP Yunior Tur turned in a solid start, allowing just 1 run through 5 2/3 frames and left with the game a 1-1 tie. RHP Colin Peluse pitched 1 1/3 perfect innings in relief to pick up the win, while RHP Tyler Baum got the final three outs in the 9th to notch the save for Midland.
