RHP Yunior Tur turned in his second straight strong start to lead Midland to a shutout win as the RockHounds recorded their third straight victory on Friday. The 25-year-old Cuban righty allowed just 3 hits while striking out 5 through 5 scoreless frames to earn the win, and Tur has now tossed 12 1/3 scoreless innings since his promotion to Midland earlier this month. Colton Johnson, Diego Barrera and Colin Peluse each tossed a scoreless inning in relief, while LHP Will Johnston pitched a perfect 9th to secure the save and complete the five-hit shutout for the Hounds. Shortstop Euribiel Angeles singled, doubled, drew a walk, stole a base and scored a run, while center fielder Henry Bolte singled twice, drove in a run and swiped a pair of bases to bring his league-leading stolen base total to 31.
