Center fielder Ryan Lasko had a big night at the plate to help lead Lansing to its seventh win in its last eight games on Sunday. The A’s 2nd-round pick in 2023 went 4 for 6 with 3 extra-base hits. Lasko doubled in the 2nd inning, doubled and scored in the 4th, singled in a run and came around to score in the 5th, then tripled in a run and scored in the 6th. Designated hitter Jared Dickey singled, homered, drew 3 walks and drove in a pair, while third baseman Davis Diaz singled, doubled, drew 3 walks, stole a base and scored 4 runs. Right fielder Nate Nankil homered and was hit by a pitch, and catcher Nick Schwartz went 4 for 5, drew a walk, drove in 2 runs and scored twice for the Lugnuts. RHP Nathan Dettmer turned in an excellent start, allowing 2 runs, 1 earned, on just 1 hit, a solo home run, in 6 innings of work to earn the win for Lansing.
