RHP Kyle Robinson turned in a strong start to help the RockHounds record their fourth straight win on Thursday. Last year’s 11th-round draft pick for the A’s allowed just 1 run while striking out 8 in 6 innings of work to earn the win in his second start for Midland, and Robinson has now notched 12 strikeouts while issuing just 1 walk over his first 12 innings at Double-A. RHP Gustavo Rodriguez got the final three outs to secure his 2nd save for the Hounds. First baseman Carter Aldrete tripled, doubled and scored a run, while second baseman Drew Swift doubled, and third baseman Sahid Valenzuela singled, walked, was hit by a pitch, drove in a run and scored a run for the RockHounds.
