Designated hitter Junior Perez did it all for Midland on Sunday to help the RockHounds win their series finale against the Missions. The 23-year-old outfielder, who was re-signed by the A’s as a minor league free agent in the offseason, drilled a pair of home runs, doubled, drew a walk, stole a base, drove in 3 runs and scored 4 times. Perez went 8 for 24 with 7 extra-base hits, 5 walks and 9 RBIs in 6 games this week, and he now leads the Texas League with 19 extra-base hits and is tied for the league lead with 10 home runs while also sporting a league-best slugging percentage of .575 among qualified hitters. Third baseman Colby Halter had 3 hits, including a double, drew a walk, stole a base and drove in 3 runs, while shortstop Euribiel Angeles singled twice, doubled and drove in a run for the RockHounds. RHP Chen Zhong-Ao Zhuang turned in a strong start, allowed just 1 run and striking out 8 in 6 innings of work to earn the win for Midland.

Catcher Daniel Susac had a big day at the plate to lead Las Vegas to its second straight victory over El Paso on Sunday. The 24-year-old backstop hit a pair of home runs, doubled and drove in 6 runs, and he’s now 11 for 25 with 7 extra-base hits, 5 walks and 9 RBIs over his last 7 games while sporting a slugging percentage of .548 on the season. First baseman CJ Alexander homered, singled, walked and scored 3 runs, while designated hitter Willie MacIver had a pair of hits, drew a walk and drove in a run, and right fielder Carlos Cortes singled, doubled and drove in a pair for the Aviators. Starter Jack Perkins struck out 7 through 4 2/3 scoreless frames, while RHP Tanner Dodson tossed 1 1/3 scoreless innings in relief to pick up the victory for Las Vegas.

The Lugnuts locked down their fifth win in their last six games on Sunday. Left fielder Rodney Green singled, doubled, drew a pair of walks, swiped a pair of bases and drove in a run, while first baseman T.J. Schofield-Sam went 3 for 4 with a double and drove in a run, and center fielder Ryan Lasko singled twice, walked twice, stole a base and scored 3 runs for Lansing. Starter Corey Avant allowed just 1 run over 4 frames, while RHP Jake Garland gave up 2 runs in 4 innings of relief to pick up the win, and RHP Mark Adamiak notched the final out in the 9th to secure his 6th save for the Lugnuts.
CALIFORNIA LEAGUE (SINGLE-A)

Stockton battled back to win in a walk-off on Sunday. Catcher Carlos Franco singled, drilled a pair of doubles and tagged a two-run homer with two outs to tie the game in the bottom of the 9th, while second baseman Davis Diaz singled, doubled and scored twice. Right fielder Luis Freitez collected 3 hits on the day, and 20-year-old Venezuelan center fielder Carlos Pacheco went 0 for 4 in his Stockton debut. Starter Sam Stuhr surrendered 5 runs over 4 frames, while RHP Jose Dicochea pitched 4 perfect innings in relief to pick up the win for the Ports.
