The RockHounds fought back from a five-run deficit to notch their ninth straight win on Thursday. Designated hitter Henry Bolte had another big night at the plate, going 3 for 3 with a home run, a triple and a pair of walks. The 21-year-old outfielder is now 9 for 11 with 4 extra-base hits and 6 RBIs over his last 3 games, and his .328 batting average is currently best among all qualified hitters in the Texas League. Center fielder Junior Perez continued his hot hitting as well, collecting a home run and a triple while drawing a walk, driving in 3 and scoring twice, and left fielder Brennan Milone singled, homered and drove in 3 runs for the RockHounds. After throwing 6 2/3 scoreless innings in his last outing, RHP Kade Morris had his shakiest start of the season, allowing 5 runs over 5 frames, but RHP Colin Peluse struck out 2 in 1 scoreless inning of relief to pick up the win, and RHP Gustavo Rodriguez notched the final out in the 9th to secure the save for Midland.
