Catcher Daniel Susac led the Aviators to their sixth win in their last seven games on Saturday. The former 1st-round draft pick tagged a two-run homer with two outs in the 2nd inning, singled but was left stranded in the 6th, and then drilled a two-run double with two outs in the 7th, and he’s now sporting a slugging percentage of .540 on the season. Right fielder Colby Thomas doubled, drew a walk, drove in a run, stole a base and scored twice, while shortstop Darell Hernaiz collected a pair of hits, including his league-leading 10th double, for Las Vegas. Starter Joey Estes allowed 3 runs through 5 2/3 frames to earn the victory for the Aviators. In other news, third baseman Brett Harris landed on the injured list with a sprained thumb, while outfielder Denzel Clarke is expected to return from the injured list sometime next week.
