Left fielder Logan Davidson had a big night at the plate to help the Aviators win their fourth straight and run their league-best record to 12-5 on Wednesday. The former 1st-round pick tagged a pair of two-run homers in his first two at-bats to give Las Vegas an early lead. He also drew a pair of walks in the game, and he now leads the squad with 13 walks this season while also boasting an on-base percentage of .524, best among all qualified players in the Pacific Coast League. Second baseman Cooper Bowman tripled twice, drew a walk and drove in 3 runs in his season debut, while designated hitter Brett Harris homered, walked twice and scored twice. Center fielder Drew Avans doubled twice, drew a walk and drove in a run, and shortstop Darell Hernaiz had 3 hits, drove in a run and scored twice for Las Vegas. RHP Mason Barnett turned in his best start of the season, allowing just 1 run through 5 frames to earn the win, while LHP Ben Bowden tossed 2 scoreless innings to secure the save for the Aviators.
