Lansing battled back to claim the victory over Great Lakes in extra innings on Sunday. Center fielder Rodney Green, last year’s 4th-round draft pick for the A’s, slugged a grand slam with two outs in the bottom of the 9th to tie the game and send the contest to extra innings. Green has hit all 4 of the team’s home runs this season, and he also walked twice and stole a base in the game. Catcher Cole Conn had 3 hits, including a pair of doubles, drove in a run and scored twice, while right fielder Nate Nankil singled twice, doubled, drew a walk and scored the winning run, and designated hitter Jared Dickey had 3 hits, drew a walk and drove in the tying and winning runs in the bottom of the 12th for Lansing. Starter Grant Judkins allowed 6 runs, 5 earned, in 4 frames, while RHPs Hunter Breault and Mark Adamiak each tossed 2 scoreless innings, and RHP Tom Reisinger was charged with 2 runs, 1 earned, in 2 innings of relief and picked up the win for Lansing.

Las Vegas put double digits on the board for the second straight day to earn the victory over El Paso on Sunday. Center fielder Drew Avans collected 4 hits, including his 4th home run, while also swiping a pair of bases, driving in a pair of runs and scoring 5 runs for the Aviators. Third baseman Brett Harris homered, doubled, singled, stole a base, drove in 3 runs and scored 3 runs, while second baseman Darell Hernaiz singled, doubled, drew a walk and drove in 3, and left fielder Carlos Cortes had 3 hits and drove in a pair for Las Vegas. Starter Joey Estes allowed 2 runs on 6 hits and struck out 4 in 4 innings of work, while LHP Matt Krook tossed 2 scoreless innings in relief to pick up the victory for the Aviators.
TEXAS LEAGUE (DOUBLE-A)

The RockHounds suffered their fourth straight loss on Sunday. Starter Will Johnston was charged with 5 runs in 4 2/3 frames to take the loss for Midland. Center fielder Junior Perez homered, walked and stole a base, while first baseman Brennan Milone homered to put the Hounds on the board in the 3rd inning, and second baseman Colby Halter had a pair of hits for Midland in the loss.
CALIFORNIA LEAGUE (SINGLE-A)

LP: Stuhr 0-1 / 9.53
Stockton suffered its biggest loss of the season on Sunday. RHP Sam Stuhr had a rough start, surrendering 6 runs in just 2 2/3 innings to take the loss, while LHP Tucker Novotny allowed 1 run in 1 inning of relief, and RHP Jose Dicochea gave up 3 runs in 2 2/3 innings for Stockton. Shortstop Ali Camarillo collected 3 hits, including a double, and scored a run, while second baseman Jared Sprague-Lott singled in Stockton’s sole run in the loss.
