RHP Nathan Dettmer turned in an impressive performance to help the Ports win their fourth straight on Thursday. 2023’s 5^th-round pick for the A’s notched 11 strikeouts through 4 frames, allowing just 1 hit and issuing 2 walks while being charged with 1 unearned run before leaving the game with a three-run lead. The 22-year-old recorded 11 of his 12 outs on strikeouts, striking out the side in order in both the 1^st and 3^rd innings. 23-year-old Dominican LHP Brayan Restituyo replaced Dettmer on the mound and allowed 1 unearned run in 1 inning of work and picked up the win. LHP Ryan Magdic gave up 1 run in 1 2/3 innings of relief, while RHP Alejandro Manzano tossed 2 1/3 scoreless frames to secure the save for Stockton. Left fielder C.J. Pittaro singled, doubled and drew a walk, while first baseman German Ortiz collected a pair of hits, including a double, and designated hitter Cameron Leary drew a pair of walks and notched his league-leading 6^th stolen base for Stockton.
