The Ports overpowered the Quakes for the second straight night to prevail again on Wednesday, and left fielder Cameron Leary led the way. Last year’s 10th-round draft pick for the A’s collected 3 hits, including a grand slam in the 6th inning and a 2-run homer in the 7th inning. Leary also swiped 3 bases in the game and now leads the league with 5 stolen bases on the season. Shortstop Ali Camarillo doubled twice, singled, drew a pair of walks, drove in a run and scored 4 times, while center fielder Joseph Rodriguez had a pair of hits for the Ports. Starter Blake Hammond, last year’s 15th-round pick, allowed 4 runs, 3 earned, in 3 2/3 innings of work, while 19-year-old Venezuelan righty Donny Troconis threw 3 scoreless frames to earn the victory for Stockton.
