Sunday, September 15th: Davidson Leads Vegas to Victory Again while Midland Sets Win Record

The Aviators notched their fifth victory in their last six games on Sunday, and designated hitter Logan Davidson delivered another strong performance for Las Vegas. The former 1st-round pick hit his 14th home run and his 23rd double, drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Aviators. Davidson is now 14 for 26 with 11 extra-base hits over his last 6 games and is slashing .385/.476/.827 through 13 games in the month of September. Shortstop Darell Hernaiz singled, homered and drove in a pair, while center fielder Hoy Park tagged a two-run homer, and second baseman Brett Harris had 3 hits, drew a walk and drove in a pair. RHP Robert Dugger turned in an excellent start, allowing just 2 hits through 6 scoreless innings to earn the victory for Las Vegas.

HR: Milone (15), Groshans (3)

In their final game of the regular season, the RockHounds recorded their 84th win to set the all-time franchise win record. Third baseman Jordan Groshans singled and homered, while designated hitter Brennan Milone walked and homered, and center fielder Denzel Clarke singled twice, walked and stole 3 bases for Midland. Starter Domingo Robles allowed 2 runs through 4 frames, while LHP Colton Johnson threw 1 1/3 scoreless innings in relief to pick up the win, and RHP Seth Elledge pitched a perfect 9th to secure his 11th save for the Hounds.
