Wednesday, August 21st: Milone Helps Hounds Win in a Walkoff while Wilson & Alvarez Lead Vegas to Victory

Designated hitter Brennan Milone led the RockHounds to an 11-inning walk-off win on Wednesday. The 23-year-old infielder walked and scored a run in the 1^st inning, hit his 13^th home run, a solo shot, with two outs in the 4^th, and then doubled in the game-winning run in the bottom of the 11^th for the RockHounds. Milone now leads Midland with 115 hits, 63 runs and 62 RBIs while slashing .283/.360/.451 in 107 games this season. Catcher Daniel Susac singled and slugged a three-run homer, while left fielder Brayan Buelvas had 3 hits, including a pair of doubles, and drove in a run. Third baseman Jordan Groshans singled twice, doubled and drove in a pair, and first baseman Nick Kurtz went 0 for 3 with a pair of walks, stole a base and scored twice in his second game for Midland. Starter Mason Barnett gave up 6 runs over 5 frames, while LHP Colton Johnson allowed 3 runs in 2 innings of relief, and LHP David Leal tossed a scoreless frame in the top of the 11^th to record the win for the RockHounds.
