Designated hitter Jordan Diaz, catcher Carlos Perez and left fielder Armando Alvarez combined to lead Las Vegas to victory on Friday. Diaz drilled his 15th home run and then doubled in another run, and he now leads the squad with 83 hits and 58 RBI while slashing .295/.365/.512 this season for Las Vegas. Perez hit his team-leading 16th home run in the 6th inning, walked and drove in 3 runs, and Alvarez doubled twice, drew a walk and drove in a pair. Nick Allen, making his first start in center field, doubled, drew a pair of walks and stole a base, while shortstop Max Muncy singled twice and walked, and third baseman Brett Harris went 2 for 5 and drove in a run in his return to Las Vegas after being optioned by Oakland. Starter Hogan Harris allowed 2 runs over 5 frames, while RHP Pedro Santos tossed 2 scoreless innings in relief to earn the victory, and RHP Jack Cushing got the final four outs for Las Vegas to secure the save.
