-Despite spending over a month on the injured list and despite concerns over his lack of power, 22-year-old shortstop Jacob Wilson, now with Triple-A Las Vegas, is currently tied with outfielder Colby Thomas for the most doubles among A’s minor leaguers (24 in just 167 at-bats), and he has the fourth-most extra-base hits in the system (31 in just 42 games).

-20-year-old outfielder Henry Bolte, now with Double-A Midland, is known for his ability to wield the bat, but he also leads all A’s minor leaguers with 30 stolen bases, ahead of speedsters like Cooper Bowman, Brayan Buelvas, Junior Perez and Ryan Lasko, and he’s been successful in 81% of his steal attempts this season.

-22-year-old shortstop Euribiel Angeles leads all A’s minor leaguers in hits with 85, more than promising prospects like Colby Thomas, Henry Bolte and Jacob Wilson.

Nick Allen was hitting a meager .171 in 28 games with the A’s this season, but he has more than doubled that number at Triple-A Las Vegas, batting a robust .346 in 43 games for the Aviators.

Ryan Noda has averaged slightly more than 1 walk per every 5 plate appearances with Las Vegas this season, drawing 51 walks in 250 plate appearances while posting an on-base percentage of .400 for the Aviators.

-Stockton’s lineup hasn’t shown much pop this season, but Ports players have definitely been drawing plenty of walks. Stockton center fielder Ryan Lasko has the most walks (54) among A’s minor leaguers, while Stockton shortstop Myles Naylor has the second-most (53), and outfielder Nate Nankil has drawn 39 walks in 68 games and leads all current Ports with a .408 on-base percentage.

-The two most solid starting pitchers in the A’s system this season are two hurlers who hadn’t even spent that much time on the mound the past couple seasons. Midland RHP Gunnar Hoglund threw a total of just 69 innings over the past two seasons, but he now leads all A’s minor leaguers in innings pitched (88 2/3), strikeouts (80) and wins (8) this season. Meanwhile, Lansing RHP Chen Zhong-Ao Zhuang was sidelined all of last season and threw just 42 innings the previous season, but he now boasts the best ERA (1.82), WHIP (0.88) and K/BB ratio (8.3/1) among A’s minor leaguers with at least 40 innings pitched this season.

-After being sidelined throughout both of the last two seasons, 25-year-old Lansing LHP Colton Johnson leads all A’s minor league pitchers with 7 saves while posting a 3.24 ERA and averaging 10 K/9 over 33 1/3 innings of relief for the Lugnuts.

-The Triple-A Las Vegas pitching staff has the worst ERA (6.32) among all A’s affiliates but also boasts the best strikeout average (9.8 K/9).
