Shortstop Myles Naylor had a big night to help the Ports prevail over the Giants on Tuesday. The 19-year-old infielder homered, doubled twice and drove in 3 runs on the night, and he’s now hitting .400 over his last 4 games and has 8 home runs and 36 RBI in 68 games for Stockton this season. Right fielder Nate Nankil homered, doubled, drew a walk and drove in 3 runs, while left fielder Clark Elliott tripled twice, scored twice and walked. Second baseman T.J. Schofield-Sam had 3 hits, including a double, and stole a base, and first baseman Darlyn Montero and designated hitter Bjay Cooke both slugged solo shots for Stockton. Starter Jackson Finley threw 3 2/3 scoreless innings, while RHP Alejandro Manzano was charged with 5 runs, just 1 earned, in 2 2/3 innings of work and picked up the win, and LHP Derek Corro tossed 2 2/3 scoreless innings to secure the save for Stockton.
