RHP Mitch Myers turned in an excellent start to lead Lansing to a shutout win over West Michigan on Thursday. The 25-year-old righty allowed just 2 hits and struck out 5 without issuing a walk while throwing 5 scoreless frames to earn his 5th win for the Lugnuts. And Myers has now put up a 1.96 ERA in 18 1/3 innings during the month of June. RHP Grant Judkins followed Myers with 3 scoreless innings of work, and RHP Hunter Breault got the final three outs in the 9th to complete the shutout and notch his 3rd save for Lansing. Shortstop Euribiel Angeles singled, drew a walk, drove in a run and stole a base, while center fielder Henry Bolte walked, was hit by a pitch and tallied his team-leading 27th stolen base, and right fielder Brayan Buelvas doubled and drove in a pair of runs for the Lugnuts.
