Three Lansing pitchers combined to complete a three-hit shutout as the Lugnuts won their third straight on Wednesday. 21-year-old Cuban RHP Luis Morales made the start and allowed just 1 hit with 1 strikeout and no walks through 3 scoreless innings before giving way to RHP Jacob Watters, who allowed just 2 hits with 4 strikeouts and no walks through 5 scoreless frames to earn the win. RHP Hunter Breault pitched a perfect 9th to close out the shutout victory. Left fielder Danny Bautista singled, drew a pair of walks and was hit by a pitch, while right fielder Henry Bolte singled, walked, scored a run and swiped 3 bases to bring his team-leading total to 20. Catcher Cole Conn and third baseman Luke Mann, who were just promoted from Stockton, both singled in their Lansing debuts. Second baseman Casey Yamauchi and RHP Chen Zhong-Ao Zhuang were also promoted to the Lugnuts on Wednesday, while Lansing infielders Dereck Salom and Jose Escorche and catcher Carlos Amaya were reassigned to Stockton.
