Lawrence Butler led Stockton to its third straight win over San Jose on Friday. For the second time in his last three games, the first baseman slugged a grand slam, hitting a bases-loaded homer in the 4th inning after fouling off 8 pitches. Butler also singled, walked and scored another run in the game, and the 21-year-old is now 9 for 16 with 3 home runs and 11 RBIs over his last four games for the Ports. Designated hitter Tyler Soderstrom singled and slugged a three-run homer, while right fielder Brayan Buelvas had a pair of hits, drew a walk and drove in a run, and shortstop Robert Puason walked and singled twice for Stockton. 21-year-old Cuban RHP Pedro Santos made the start and allowed just 1 run over 4 frames, while RHP Dallas Woolfolk gave up 1 run in 3 innings of relief to pick up the win for the Ports.
