Lansing snapped its three-game losing streak on Sunday, and catcher Drew Millas led the way for the Lugnuts. 2019’s 7th-round draft pick for the A’s singled, doubled, homered, walked twice, scored twice, stole a base, and even threw out an opposing runner for good measure. Millas has now gone 10 for his last 17 and is slashing .412/.524/.676 over 9 games in the month of June. Second baseman Ryan Gridley singled twice, stole a base and drove in a run, while center fielder Elvis Peralta singled, doubled and scored twice, and left fielder Shane Selman singled, walked and stole a base for Lansing. Starting pitcher Stevie Emanuels allowed 2 runs over 4 2/3 frames, while LHP Dalton Sawyer threw 1 1/3 scoreless innings in relief to pick up the win for the Lugnuts.

After scoring 18 runs on the way to victory on Saturday, the Aviators surrendered 15 runs on Sunday as they were dealt a loss by the Aces. Starter Paul Blackburn allowed 5 runs, 3 earned, over 4 2/3 frames to suffer the loss, while LHP Reymin Guduan was charged with 3 runs in just 2/3 of an inning of relief. Third baseman Jacob Wilson doubled and slugged a grand slam with two outs in the 4th inning to briefly give Las Vegas the lead, while left fielder Mickey McDonald singled, doubled, drew a walk and drove in a run, and designated hitter Francisco Pena had 3 hits, drove in a run and scored twice in the loss.

Midland suffered its fourth straight loss to San Antonio on Sunday. Starting pitcher Kyle Friedrichs surrendered 5 runs in just 2 innings of work to take the loss, while tandem starter Ty Damron allowed 1 run in 2 2/3 innings of relief for the RockHounds. Shortstop Nick Allen singled twice, doubled and drove in a run and has now gone 10 for 24 over his last 5 games. Designated hitter Logan Davidson singled, doubled and scored a run, while catcher Kyle McCann homered and drove in 3 runs for the RockHounds in the loss.

Stockton suffered a one-run loss to San Jose to drop its third straight on Sunday. Starting pitcher Pedro Santos gave up 4 runs in just 2 1/3 innings of work, while tandem starter Kumar Nambiar allowed 3 runs over 5 1/3 frames, and RHP Oscar Tovar was charged with the winning run in the top of the 9th to take the loss for Stockton. Center fielder Brayan Buelvas homered, tripled, singled, drew a walk and scored twice, while left fielder Lawrence Butler singled, tripled and scored twice, and first baseman Tyler Soderstrom singled and drew a pair of walks for the Ports.
