Stockton put 15 runs on the board to best Lancaster on Wednesday. Left fielder Lazaro Armenteros led the way by launching a pair of home runs for the Ports. The 20-year-old hit a grand slam in the 4th inning and then slugged a solo shot in the 6th, and Lazaro now leads Stockton with 13 home runs on the season. Third baseman Jonah Bride singled, walked twice and hit a three-run homer, while second baseman Trace Loehr singled twice, doubled, tripled and drove in a pair. Center fielder Mickey McDonald collected 4 hits and drove in a run, and shortstop Jeremy Eierman had 3 hits, walked and scored twice for Stockton. RHP Xavier Altamirano turned in a strong start, allowing 2 runs over 7 innings of work to pick up his 4th win for the Ports.

The RockHounds came back to record a one-run win over Amarillo on Wednesday. First baseman Chase Calabuig had a pair of hits, drew a walk, stole a base and drove in the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the 8th for the RockHounds. Left fielder Tyler Ramirez singled, drew a walk, drove in a run and stole a base, while center fielder Dairon Blanco tripled and scored the winning run for the RockHounds. Reliever Trey Cochran-Gill made the start and allowed 1 run in 3 innings of work, while RHP Seth Martinez struck out 4 over 3 scoreless frames, and RHP Jesus Zambrano threw 3 scoreless innings in relief to record the win for the RockHounds.

Designated hitter John Jones had a pair of hits, including a double, drew a walk and drove in 4 runs, while third baseman Cobie Vance singled, doubled, walked twice and drove in a pair for the Snappers. Starter Aiden McIntyre had a rough start, surrendering 7 runs in just 2 1/3 innings of work, while LHP Josh Reagan allowed 1 run in 2 innings of relief and notched the win, and RHP Brandon Withers threw 3 scoreless frames to secure his 2nd save for the Snappers.

The Lake Monsters put double digits on the board to win their second straight on Wednesday. 18-year-old Colombian third baseman Jordan Diaz singled and slugged a three-run homer, while this year’s 21st-round draft pick for the A’s, left fielder Shane Selman, singled, tripled, drew a pair of walks and drove in a run. This year’s 32nd-round draft pick, right fielder Marty Bechina, had a pair of hits, including a double, and drove in 2 runs, and 19-year-old Dominican second baseman Yerdel Vargas singled twice and drove in a pair for the Lake Monsters. This year’s 9th-round pick, RHP Colin Peluse, made the start and permitted 1 run in 3 innings of work, while LHP Jhenderson Hurtado was solid in relief, allowing just 1 run over 4 frames to earn his 2nd victory for Vermont.

20-year-old Venezuelan LHP Dennis Herrera made the start and allowed just 1 run over 4 frames, but RHP Malik Jones surrendered 4 runs in just 2/3 of an inning in relief, and 21-year-old Dominican RHP Manuel Manzanillo gave up the winning run in the top of the 9th to take the loss on Wednesday. 18-year-old Dominican right fielder Jose Bonilla homered and singled in a run, while this year’s 11th-round draft pick for the A’s, first baseman Dustin Harris, drew a pair of walks and doubled in a run for the A’s in the loss.

In the Triple-A All-Star Game on Wednesday, Las Vegas shortstop Jorge Mateo went 2 for 3 with a triple, a stolen base and a pair of RBIs as the Pacific Coast League All-Stars beat the International League All-Stars by a score of 9-3.
