Milburn allowed 2 runs, just 1 earned, and struck out 7 over 7 innings of work to earn the win, and he’s now compiled a 1.63 ERA over his last 4 starts for Midland. Right fielder Dairon Blanco collected 3 hits, drew a walk, drove in 3 runs and tallied his team-leading 21st stolen base, while left fielder Chase Calabuig singled, walked and homered. Center fielder Tyler Ramirez had 3 hits, stole a base and drove in 3 runs, while third baseman Edwin Diaz drew a walk and drilled a three-run homer, and catcher Collin Theroux walked and tagged a two-run homer for the Hounds.

First baseman Corban Joseph collected 3 hits, including a triple, and drove in 3 runs, while rehabbing catcher Chris Herrmann singled twice, doubled and drove in a run, and left fielder Seth Brown had 3 hits and drove in a run for Las Vegas in the loss.

Shortstop Jeremy Eierman homered, tripled and walked, while first baseman Alfonso Rivas singled, doubled twice, drew a walk and drove in a run, and catcher Robert Mullen and second baseman Ryan Gridley each had a pair of hits, walked and drove in a run for the Ports. Starter Mitchell Jordan allowed 3 runs, just 1 earned, over 6 innings of work, while RHP Wandisson Charles pitched a perfect 9th to pick up the win, and RHP Peter Bayer got the final three outs in the bottom of the 10th to secure the save for Stockton.

First baseman Nick Ward singled, doubled twice, drove in 3 runs and stole a base for the Snappers in the loss.

The Lake Monsters were shut out on just six hits to snap their three-game winning streak on Saturday. This year’s 6th-round draft pick for the A’s, RHP Seth Shuman, made the start and pitched 2 perfect innings in his pro debut. 23-year-old Cuban LHP Yorlenis Noa was solid in relief, allowing just 1 run over 4 1/3 frames, but he still ended up suffering the loss for the Lake Monsters. 18-year-old Colombian third baseman Jordan Diaz doubled for Vermont’s only extra-base hit in the loss.

Last year’s 12th-round draft pick for the A’s, center fielder Noah Vaughan, hit a three-run homer in the 4th inning to give his team an early lead and then drove in another run with a sacrifice fly in the 10th to help the AZL A’s Green squad win on Saturday. 20-year-old Venezuelan LHP Dennis Herrera allowed just 1 run and struck out 6 over 4 frames, while this year’s 40th-round draft pick for the A’s, RHP Sam Romero, tossed 2 scoreless innings in relief to earn the win, and this year’s 36th-round draft pick, RHP Jake Walkinshaw, got the final three outs in the bottom of the 10th to pick up the save for the A’s.

Last year’s 30th-round draft pick for the A’s, first baseman Gio Dingcong, hit a game-tying, two-run homer in the 5th inning and then drove in another run with a sacrifice fly in the 6th to help the AZL A’s Gold squad win on Saturday. 17-year-old Venezuelan RHP Luis Carrasco made the start and allowed 3 runs in 2 2/3 innings of work, while 21-year-old Dominican RHP Robin Vazquez was outstanding in relief, throwing 4 1/3 scoreless frames to earn the win, and 22-year-old Brock Whittlesey pitched a perfect 9th to pick up the save for the A’s.
