The Ports were shut out on just five hits on Sunday, but RHP Brady Feigl turned in another strong start for Stockton. Last year’s 5th-round draft pick for the A’s allowed just 1 unearned run while striking out 7 over 5 frames to lower his ERA to 2.84, but he still ended up suffering the loss. The 23-year-old has now given up just 1 earned run in 20 innings over his last 3 starts for Stockton. Right fielder Jameson Hannah singled, doubled and drew a walk in the loss.

Las Vegas suffered its third straight loss to Sacramento on Sunday. RHP Jake Buchanan delivered one of his best starts of the season, allowing just 2 runs and striking out 8 over 7 innings of work, but RHP Trey McNutt gave up 2 runs in 1 inning of relief to take the loss. RHP Kyle Finnegan, who was reassigned from the RockHounds to the Aviators on Sunday, pitched a perfect 9th for Las Vegas. First baseman Seth Brown hit his team-leading 17th home run, a two-run shot to tie the game in the 7th, while designated hitter Nick Martini singled, doubled and drove in a run, and catcher Jonah Heim doubled and scored a run in the loss.

The RockHounds suffered their third loss in their last four games on Sunday. RHP Grant Holmes made the start and threw 3 scoreless innings for Midland, and Holmes has now allowed just 2 earned runs over his last 15 frames for the Hounds. His tandem-pitching partner, RHP Daulton Jefferies, permitted 1 run in 3 innings of work, while RHP Angel Duno gave up 3 runs in 1 inning of relief to take the loss. Designated hitter Dairon Blanco tripled and scored a run, while center fielder Brallan Perez and first baseman Mikey White had a pair of hits apiece, and left fielder Tyler Ramirez doubled and drove in the RockHounds’ only run in the loss.

Vermont won in extra innings to snap its four-game losing streak on Sunday. 18-year-old first baseman Lawrence Butler drew a walk and slugged a home run in the 6th innings to briefly give Vermont the lead, while 18-year-old Colombian third baseman Jordan Diaz singled twice and drove in 3 runs, including the tying run in the top of the 9th, and second baseman Nick Ward drew 3 walks, scored twice and drove in the winning run with a sacrifice fly in the 11th. 23-year-old Cuban LHP Yorlenis Noa made the start and allowed 2 runs over 4 frames, while 23-year-old Panamanian LHP Jorge Martinez threw 1 1/3 scoreless innings in relief to pick up the victory for Vermont.
