RHP Brady Feigl turned in another strong start to help the Ports prevail for the seventh time in their last eight games on Wednesday. Feigl allowed 1 run on just 4 hits while walking none and striking out 6 over 7 innings of work to earn his 5th win for Stockton. And over his last two starts, Feigl has given up just 1 run while walking none and striking out 15 over 15 innings of work. RHP Jake Bray tossed 2 scoreless innings in relief to pick up his 3rd save for the Ports. Shortstop Jeremy Eierman hit a two-run homer in the 1st inning and then doubled and scored in the 6th, while center fielder Mickey McDonald singled, doubled and drove in a run for Stockton.

The Aviators were shut out on just two hits on Wednesday. Both those hits were doubles that came off the bat of left fielder Nick Martini. RHP Jake Buchanan turned in a solid start, allowing 2 runs over 6 innings of work, but he still ended up being saddled with his 5th loss for Las Vegas.

The RockHounds won for the seventh time in their last eight games to take over first place in the Texas League South Division on Wednesday. Left fielder Dairon Blanco singled, hit his 7th home run to tie him for the team lead, walked twice, scored twice and swiped a pair of bases to raise his team-best total to 15. Third baseman Edwin Diaz singled, homered and drove in 3 runs, while first baseman Mikey White hit a three-run homer. Catcher Collin Theroux singled, drew 3 walks and scored twice, and shortstop Kevin Merrell singled twice, stole a base and drove in a run for the RockHounds. Starter Kyle Friedrichs allowed 4 runs over 4 1/3 frames, while LHP Zack Erwin tossed 2/3 of a scoreless inning in relief to pick up the win, and RHP Kyle Finnegan got the final three outs in the 9th in his return to the RockHounds after making one appearance for Las Vegas.
