Right fielder Dustin Fowler helped lead Las Vegas to its third straight victory over Salt Lake on Thursday. Fowler singled, doubled, drew a walk, scored twice and drove in a pair of runs, including the go-ahead run in the bottom of the 6th inning before the game ended early due to rain after the top of the 7th. Fowler is now 10 for 22 with 7 RBIs over his last 5 games for the Aviators. Second baseman Corban Joseph collected 3 hits, including a double, and drove in a pair, while shortstop Jorge Mateo singled, doubled and drove in a run for Las Vegas. Starter Jake Buchanan allowed 3 runs, 2 earned, over 5 frames, while RHP Norge Ruiz picked up the win despite giving up 2 runs, 1 earned, in 1 inning of relief, and LHP Wei-Chung Wang got the final three outs to earn the save for the Aviators.

RHP James Naile had a rocky start for the RockHounds, surrendering 6 runs over 5 frames to suffer his 3rd loss on Thursday. RHP Angel Duno was charged with 5 runs in just 1/3 of an inning of relief. Catcher Jonah Heim drove in a run and collected 3 hits to raise his average to .301, while right fielder Greg Deichmann singled and doubled for the RockHounds in the loss. Meanwhile, Midland infielder Brallan Perez was reassigned to the Vermont roster on Thursday.

Stockton suffered its third straight loss to Lancaster as the JetHawks completed the sweep of their three-game series on Thursday. Starter Joel Seddon allowed 4 runs over 4 frames to take the loss, while RHP Jake Bray was charged with 3 runs in 1 2/3 innings of relief. First baseman Hunter Hargrove singled and homered, while left fielder Lazaro Armenteros doubled and drew a walk, and shortstop Nick Allen notched his team-leading 12th double and scored a run for Stockton in the loss.

The Snappers suffered their fourth straight loss on Thursday. RHP Chase Cohen endured a rough start, surrendering 6 runs in just 3 1/3 innings to take the loss for the Snappers. Infielder Nick Ward pitched a scoreless 9th in relief for Beloit. Center fielder Lester Madden homered and doubled, while right fielder Nick Osborne had a pair of hits for the Snappers in the loss.
