RHP Tanner Anderson turned in a solid start to lead Las Vegas to victory on Thursday. Anderson allowed 2 runs on 6 hits while walking just 1 and striking out 4 over 6 innings of work to earn his 2nd win for the Aviators. RHP Miguel Romero gave up 1 run in 1 2/3 innings of relief, while RHP Brian Schlitter got the final four outs for Las Vegas to log his 5th save. Catcher Beau Taylor collected 4 hits, including a pair of doubles, drove in a run and scored twice, while shortstop Jorge Mateo tripled, doubled and drove in 4. Second baseman Eric Campbell doubled, drew a walk and stole a base, and first baseman Matt Olson went 0 for 4 in his second rehab game with the Aviators. Meanwhile, the A’s officially optioned RHP Ryan Dull back to Las Vegas on Thursday.

Midland took its third straight loss at the hands of Tulsa on Thursday. RHP James Naile had a rough start for the RockHounds, surrendering 6 runs over 4 frames to suffer his 2nd loss. RHP Trey McNutt and LHP Zack Erwin each tossed 2 scoreless innings in relief for Midland. Shortstop Kevin Merrell singled, walked and stole a base, while center fielder Dairon Blanco doubled for the Hounds’ only extra-base hit, and designated hitter Anthony Miller singled in the RockHounds’ sole run in the loss.

Stockton saw its six-game winning streak snapped by Visalia on Thursday. RHP Brady Feigl turned in his shakiest start of the season, allowing 4 runs on 8 hits and 4 walks over 6 innings of work to suffer his 1st loss, while LHP Will Gilbert pitched 1 perfect in relief in his return from the injured list. Third baseman Trace Loehr drew a walk and singled in Stockton’s sole run in the loss.

The Snappers suffered their fifth straight loss on Thursday. Starter Aiden McIntyre allowed 3 runs, just 1 earned, in 3 innings of work, while RHP Calvin Coker gave up 2 runs in 2 innings of relief. RHP Brandon Withers pitched 2 perfect frames, but RHP Eric Marinez permitted the winning run in the bottom of the 8th to suffer his 1st loss for the Snappers. 19-year-old Dominican shortstop Marcos Brito belted his 1st home run of the season, while third baseman Cobie Vance singled, walked and stole a base. First baseman Nick Ward singled, drew a walk and drove in a pair, and center fielder Lester Madden tripled and scored a run for the Snappers.
