A’s Prospect AFL Highlights
(October 9 – 12)

Tuesday, October 9th:
Left fielder Luis Barrera went 1 for 4 with a tie-breaking inside-the-park home run in the top of the 9th, while right fielder Skye Bolt went 1 for 4 and stole a base as Mesa won its season opener 4-3 on Tuesday.

Wednesday, October 10th:
Right fielder Skye Bolt went 2 for 4 with a 2-run homer, while shortstop Eli White went 2 for 4 with a double and a stolen base. RHP Jake Bray tossed 1 1/3 scoreless innings, while RHP Sam Sheehan allowed 1 run and walked 5 in 1 1/3 innings, and RHP Angel Duno gave up 4 runs in 2/3 of an inning in Mesa’s 10-3 loss on Wednesday.

Thursday, October 11th:
Designated hitter Eli White went 3 for 5 with a walk, while right fielder Luis Barrera went 1 for 4 with 2 walks and a stolen base, and RHP Calvin Coker tossed 1 1/3 scoreless innings in relief as Mesa won 10-9 in 10 innings on Thursday.

Friday, October 12th:
Shortstop Eli White went 1 for 5, while left fielder Skye Bolt went 0 for 4 with a walk in Mesa’s 8-0 shutout win over Peoria on Friday.

Saturday, October 13th:
No games scheduled.

Sunday, October 14th:
No games scheduled.
