Right fielder Brett Siddall slugged Stockton to its third straight victory on Tuesday. Siddall socked a three-run homer in the 6th inning to give Stockton the lead and added a solo shot in the 8th. Catcher Collin Theroux collected 3 hits, while second baseman Trace Loehr singled and doubled for the Ports. Starter Evan Manarino allowed 2 runs over 4 frames, while LHP Pat Krall threw 3 scoreless innings in relief to pick up his 4th win for the Ports. In other news, RHP Grant Holmes, who’s been sidelined with a shoulder injury, is set to make his season debut for Stockton on Wednesday.

Designated hitter Anthony Garcia led the Sounds to victory over New Orleans on Tuesday. Garcia slugged a solo shot in the 7th to put the Sounds on the board and then socked his second solo shot of the night in the 9th to tie the game for Nashville. Second baseman Franklin Barreto had 3 hits, including his 18th home run, while left fielder Boog Powell doubled in a pair of runs in the top of the 10th for the Sounds. Starter Eric Jokisch allowed 3 runs, just 1 earned, over 6 innings of work, while RHP Liam Hendriks tossed 2 scoreless innings in relief to notch his 4th win for Nashville. And with LHP Brett Anderson landing on the disabled for the A’s on Tuesday, Sounds RHP Ryan Dull was recalled by Oakland.

Second baseman Richie Martin belted a three-run homer in the bottom of the 1st inning to give the RockHounds a lead they would never relinquish on Tuesday. Martin also walked and tallied his team-leading 23rd stolen base in the game, while shortstop Eli White, right fielder J.P. Sportman and designated hitter Tyler Ramirez had a pair of hit apiece for the Hounds. Starter Brian Howard allowed 3 runs over 6 innings of work to earn the win, while RHP Corey Walter tossed 2 scoreless innings in relief, and RHP Kyle Finnegan pitched a perfect 9th to record his 11th save for the RockHounds.

20-year-old Dominican RHP Richard Morban surrendered 6 runs, 5 earned, over just 2 innings of work to take the loss in his first start for Vermont since his promotion from the AZL A’s. This year’s 15th-round draft pick for the A’s, RHP Calvin Coker, tossed 2 1/3 scoreless innings in relief in his Vermont debut. 23rd-round third baseman Jonah Bride singled, doubled, drew a walk and drove in a run, while Stockton shortstop Kevin Merrell went 2 for 2 in his first rehab appearance with the Lake Monsters.
