Nashville battled back from a four-run deficit to win in a walk-off and notch its 14th straight victory on Monday. Second baseman Franklin Barreto drove in a run with a sacrifice fly in the 1st inning, drew a walk and stole a base in the 6th, and singled and scored a run in the 8th. And with two outs in the bottom of the 9th, Barreto doubled in the tying run and then came around to score the winning run for the Sounds. Left fielder Anthony Garcia had 3 hits and drove in a pair of runs, including the winning run in the bottom of the 9th for Nashville. Center fielder Dustin Fowler notched his sixth straight multi-hit game, collecting a single and a double while also drawing a walk and scoring twice for the Sounds. Starter James Naile surrendered 5 runs in 7 frames, while LHP Jeremy Bleich pitched a perfect 8th, and LHP Dean Kiekhefer tossed a scoreless top of the 9th to pick up the win as the Sounds climbed 10 games over .500 for the first time this season.

The Snappers lost their second straight to Wisconsin on Monday, but Beloit batters tied a season high with 16 hits. Center fielder Austin Beck singled, doubled, tripled, drew a walk and drove in 3, while shortstop Nick Allen had a pair of doubles, drove in a run and scored twice, and third baseman Mickey McDonald singled twice, doubled and drove in a run for the Snappers. Starter Jared Poche surrendered 8 runs, 7 earned, over 4 1/3 frames, while RHP Seth Martinez allowed 1 run in 2 2/3 innings of relief to take the loss.

The AZL A’s hung on to score a one-run victory and notch their third win in their last four games on Monday. Stockton RHP Jake Bray made his second rehab start and tossed 2 scoreless innings, while 20-year-old Dominican RHP Richard Morban allowed just 1 hit and struck out 5 over 4 scoreless frames to earn his 4th win and lower his ERA to 2.31, which ties him for fourth best in the league. This year’s 13th-round draft pick for the A’s, RHP Dallas Woolfolk, gave up 2 runs in 2 innings of relief, while 21st-round RHP Daniel Martinez threw a scoreless 9th to notch his 3rd save. 19-year-old Venezuelan right fielder Rafael Rincones ripped a two-run homer in the top of the 1st inning, and this year’s 34th-round pick, shortstop Nick Ward, doubled, drew 3 walks and scored a run for the A’s.
