(November 14 – November 19)
Monday, November 14th:
Shortstop Franklin Barreto went 2 for 5, while third baseman Yairo Munoz went 1 for 4 with a walk and drove in 2 runs. Starter Dylan Covey gave up 3 runs over 4 innings but still earned the win, while RHP Frankie Montas allowed 2 runs, 1 earned, in 2 2/3 innings, and RHP Sam Bragg tossed 1 scoreless inning in relief as Mesa won 13-5 on Monday.
Tuesday, November 15th:
No A’s prospects participated in Mesa’s 6-5 win on Tuesday.
Wednesday, November 16th:
Second baseman Franklin Barreto went 1 for 4 with a double in Mesa’s 10-0 loss on Wednesday.
Thursday, November 17th:
Second baseman Yairo Munoz went 2 for 4 with a triple, while shortstop Franklin Barreto went 2 for 5, and RHP Trey Cochran-Gill allowed 1 unearned run in 2 innings of relief in Mesa’s 6-6 tie as the team clinched the AFL East Division title on Thursday.
Friday, November 18th:
No games scheduled.
Saturday, November 19th:
Starter Dylan Covey allowed 1 hit and 1 run over 5 innings to earn the win, while RHP Frankie Montas struck out 5 in 3 scoreless innings of relief, and second baseman Franklin Barreto went 1 for 3 as Mesa won the AFL Championship Game 6-1 on Saturday.
