RHP Casey Meisner had his third straight shaky start for the Ports, allowing 3 runs on 8 hits and 3 walks over 5 innings of work to suffer his 6th loss, while RHP Carlos Navas surrendered another 4 runs in 1 2/3 innings of relief. The Ports managed just 6 hits in the game. Shortstop Melvin Mercedes singled, doubled and walked twice, while first baseman John Nogowski singled in Stockton’s only run in the loss.

RHP Angel Duno had a rare rough start for the Snappers, allowing 6 runs, 5 earned, over 5 innings of work to take his 2nd loss for Beloit. The Snappers were shut out on just 5 hits on Wednesday. First baseman Ryan Howell had 2 hits and a walk, while right fielder Brett Siddall singled and walked in the loss. With infielder Jesus Lopez landing on the disabled list, left fielder Jean Carlo Rodriguez was added to the Snappers roster and went 0 for 4 in his debut for Beloit.
