First baseman Renato Nunez and third baseman Ryon Healy both homered, had a pair of singles and scored twice, while starter Dillon Overton allowed 3 runs in 5 innings of work to earn his 2nd win for the RockHounds.

Third baseman Matt Chapman hit his 19th home run, his third in the last three days, in the bottom of the 8th to tie the game, and first baseman John Nogowski singled in the winning run in the bottom of the 9th for Stockton on Monday. Nogowski had a total of 3 hits on the night, while second baseman Branden Cogswell had a pair of hits and walked 3 times for the Ports. Starter Raul Alcantara allowed 1 run over 4 innings of work, while RHP Ben Bracewell tossed a scoreless top of the 9th to pick up the win for Stockton.

Designated hitter Yairo Munoz had a pair of singles and drove in a run, while third baseman Jose Brizuela and outfielders Max Kuhn and Joe Bennie all singled in runs for Beloit.

This year’s 5th-round draft pick for the A’s, LHP Kevin Duchene, got things off to a good start by tossing 3 shutout innings for Vermont on Monday before leaving with the game a scoreless tie. But RHP Derek De Young allowed 1 run in 2 innings of relief, while RHP Dustin Driver gave up 3 runs, 2 earned, in 2 frames, and RHP John Gorman surrendered the winning run in the bottom of the 9th to take the loss for the Lake Monsters. First baseman Chris Iriart had 2 hits and drove in a run, while outfielder Seth Brown doubled and drove in a pair in the loss.

In the top of the 14th inning, outfielder Rodolfo Penalo was hit by a pitch, stole a base and came around to score the game-winning run on a throwing error to give the AZL A’s the win in extra innings on Monday. Catcher Breet Sunde, second baseman Carlos Hiciano and outfielder Brett Siddall had 3 hits apiece for the A’s. RHP Jordan Schwartz tossed 2 scoreless frames to get things started, while RHP Jesus Zambrano gave up 1 run over 5 innings of work. RHP Xavier Altamirano contributed 4 shutout frames in the 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th, while RHP Emerson Nelo tossed 2 scoreless innings to pick up the win, and RHP Dustin Hurlbutt got the final three outs in the bottom of the 14th for his 2nd save.
