Second baseman Conner Crumbliss hit a 2-run homer in the 5th to tie the game, while right fielder Chad Oberacker had 3 hits, including a double, and drove in a run, and left fielder Kenny Wilson singled, doubled and drove in a pair in his first game for the RockHounds. Starter Drew Granier allowed 2 runs in 5 2/3 innings to earn his 7th win, while RHP Marcus Walden got the final five outs for his 2nd save.

RHP Dylan Covey had his second straight shaky start for Stockton on Friday, allowing 5 runs over 5 innings of work to take the loss, while RHP Jonathan Joseph tossed 3 scoreless innings in relief. Catcher Beau Taylor had 3 hits, including a pair of doubles, and drove in a run, while outfielder Bobby Crocker had 2 hits and 2 stolen bases, and second baseman Chad Pinder singled, walked and stole a base in the loss. Meanwhile, the Ports placed RHP Seth Streich on the disabled list with a sore right shoulder.

RHP Lee Sosa pitched a perfect 8th to earn the win, while RHP Fernand Cruzado tossed a scoreless 9th for his 3rd save. First baseman John Nogowski collected 3 hits and drove in a run, while outfielder J.P. Sportman also had 3 hits and scored, and designated hitter Ryan Huck singled, walked and drove in a run in the win.
