A’s outfielder Josh Reddick looked mighty healthy in the first game of his rehab assignment with Stockton on Monday. Reddick collected 4 hits, homering in the 1st inning, doubling in the 2nd and posting a pair of singles, while driving in 3 runs for the Ports. First baseman Matt Olson smashed his league-leading 26th home run, while shortstop Daniel Robertson had 4 hits and drove in a run, and designated hitter Ryon Healy had 3 hits, including a double, and drove in a pair. Starter Jake Sanchez allowed just 1 run and struck out 8 over 6 innings to earn his 4th win, while LHP Omar Duran and RHPs Nolan Sanburn and Austin House each tossed a scoreless inning in relief. House was reassigned to Stockton from Sacramento earlier in the day, while infielder Chad Pinder was activated off the disabled list and outfielder Aaron Shipman was placed on the DL for the Ports.

After giving up 14 runs the previous night, the RockHounds put 14 runs of their own on the board on Monday. Max Muncy slugged a grand slam in the top of the 4th to give the Hounds what would prove to be an insurmountable 8-run lead early in the game. Muncy also posted a pair of singles and a pair of walks and drove in 5 runs on the night. Outfielder Billy Burns singled, doubled, walked twice and led off the game with his 1st home run of the season, while third baseman Jefry Marte, who was named the Texas League Player of the Week, collected 4 hits, including a home run, and drove in 3 runs, and catcher Blake Forsythe hit his 4th home run for the Hounds. Starter Chris Jensen allowed just 1 run over 7 innings to earn his 7th win for Midland.

With two outs, a man on and Beloit down by a run in the top of the 9th, outfielder Tyler Marincov tagged a 2-run homer to provide the margin of victory for the Snappers on Monday. Starter Lou Trivino allowed 2 runs on just 2 hits over 6 innings of work, while RHP Joe Michaud tossed 2 scoreless innings in relief to pick up the win, and RHP Bobby Wahl got the final three outs in the bottom of the 9th for his 3rd save.
NEW YORK-PENN LEAGUE (Class-A Short-Season)

RHP Cristhian Perez had another rocky outing for Vermont on Monday, allowing 5 runs on 6 hits over 4 2/3 innings to take his 2nd loss, while LHP Mike Fagan allowed 1 run in 1/3 of an inning inning of relief, and RHPs Jon Massad, Corey Walter and Koby Gauna each tossed a scoreless inning for the Lake Monsters. 13th-round draft pick Max Kuhn made the start in left field and singled and doubled, while designated hitter Ryan Huck walked and doubled. Outfielder Ben McQuown singled, walked twice and stole his 6th base, and catcher Andy Paz and third baseman Jose Brizuela each drove in a run for the Lake Monsters.
