RHP Seth Streich turned in his second straight scoreless start for Stockton on Tuesday. Streich didn’t have his control early in the game and walked a total of 4, but he gave up just 2 hits over 5 shutout innings to earn his 2nd win for the Ports. RHP Nolan Sanburn tossed 2 scoreless innings, while LHP Omar Duran allowed 2 runs and struck out 3 in 1 inning of relief, and RHP Tucker Healy got the final 3 outs to lower his ERA to 1.00. First baseman Matt Olson tagged a 2-run homer, while designated hitter Renato Nunez and outfielder Dusty Robinson both contributed solo shots for the Ports.

RHP Nate Long, getting the start for injured pitcher Tanner Peters, allowed 4 runs on 5 hits over 3 innings of work on Tuesday. RHP Blake Hassebrock gave up 1 run in 2 innings of relief, and RHP Jesus Castillo and LHP Jeff Urlaub each tossed 2 scoreless innings to keep the game a 5-5 tie before heading into the 10th. RHP Seth Frankoff then threw a scoreless 10th and 11th before outfielder Conner Crumbliss came in to pitch the 12th, where he ultimately surrendered the winning run. Crumbliss provided the spark for Midland’s offense earlier in the game though, collecting 3 hits, including a pair of doubles, and driving in 4 of the RockHounds’ 5 runs in the game. Catcher Beau Taylor, third baseman Max Muncy and outfielders Billy Burns and Chad Oberacker had a pair of hits apiece for the Hounds.

RHP Kyle Finnegan had his first shaky start of the season for the Snappers, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits over 4 2/3 innings to take his 1st loss on Tuesday. RHP Dominique Vattuone tossed 2 1/3 scoreless innings in relief, while RHPs Stuart Pudenz and Lee Sosa combined to walk 5 batters and allow 2 runs in the top of the 9th. Third baseman B.A. Vollmuth singled, hit his 1st home run and drove in a pair of runs, while shortstop Luis Baez singled and doubled, and outfielder B.J. Boyd had a pair of hits and drove in a run for the Snappers.
