Zach Neal had an impressive outing for the RockHounds on Sunday, allowing just 1 unearned run on 2 hits over 7 innings of work. LHP Frank Gailey and RHP Brett Hunter combined to give up 3 runs in the 9th inning, with Hunter taking the loss. First baseman Anthony Aliotti collected 3 hits, including his 22nd double, and drove in a run for the RockHounds.

LHP Shaeffer Hall gave up 3 runs on 8 hits over 6 innings of work and left with the game tied, but the Ports’ bullpen quickly put an end to that. RHP David Mota allowed 2 runs and RHP T.J. Walz followed by surrendering another 5 runs to put the game out of reach. First baseman Max Muncy smacked his 15th home run and drove in 2 of the Ports’ 3 runs on the day.

Starter Derek De Young allowed 7 runs, 6 earned, over 4 innings of work, but RHP Tyler Vail tossed 2 perfect innings in relief to earn his 2nd win, and RHP Tucker Healy got the final 3 outs for his 2nd save.
