Right fielder Michael Choice clubbed his 9th, third baseman Scott Moore smacked his 6th, after homering in the 8th to tie the game, and left fielder Jeremy Barfield belted his 3rd home run for the River Cats. Starter Travis Banwart allowed 4 runs, 3 earned, on 8 hits in 5 2/3 innings of work, while RHP Dan Otero tossed 2 perfect innings of relief to pick up his 1st win.

With the game tied after 8 innings, first baseman Anthony Aliotti stepped up to the plate to lead off the 9th and smacked his 8th home run to provide the RockHounds with the critical run on Saturday. Starter Arnold Leon struck out 9 over 4 2/3 scoreless innings, but RHP Carlos Fisher picked up the win despite giving up 2 runs in the 8th, and RHP Mike DeMark got the final 3 outs to earn his 2nd save.

With the game tied in the top of the 9th inning and 2 men on, outfielder Dusty Robinson clubbed a critical 3-run homer to account for all the scoring on the night and provide the Ports with the win. LHP Shaeffer Hall, who had been released by the Yankees and signed by the A’s earlier in the month, made his debut with Stockton on Saturday, tossing 3 scoreless and hitless innings to start the game. LHP Jake Brown followed with 3 more scoreless innings, while RHP Jonathan Joseph picked up the win with a pair of scoreless frames, and RHP Jose Macias got the final 3 outs for his 4th save. In order to make room on the roster for Hall, the Ports placed RHP Deyvi Jimenez on the disabled list.
