Worth Noting: With Sacramento down 3-2, second baseman Jemile Weeks doubled in 2 runs with 2 outs in the 9th inning to help the River Cats clinch their 6th straight Pacific Coast League division title on Wednesday night. In his first game with the team since being acquired from the Cubs for Anthony Recker, catcher Blake Lalli collected 3 hits, including a home run. Starter Bruce Billings allowed 2 runs over 6 innings of work, while right-hander Tyson Ross picked up the win with 2 innings in relief. The River Cats will face the PCL Northern Divison winner in the first round of the playoffs starting at Raley Field in Sacramento on September 5th.
