Worth Noting: Starter Dan Straily turned in another impressive performance, allowing just 1 run and striking out 10 over 6 innings to win his 2nd game since joining the River Cats. Third baseman Josh Donaldson blasted a grand slam in the 2nd inning, and designated hitter Kila Ka’aihue and second baseman Eric Sogard also contributed homers in the win.

Worth Noting: After a few shaky outings, starter Murphy Smith got back on track on Sunday, allowing just 1 run over 6 2/3 innings to earn his 5th win. First baseman Anthony Aliotti collected 3 hits, including 2 doubles, and drove in 2 runs. Outfielder Michael Choice hit his 7th home run, and third baseman Miles Head hit his 1st for the Rock Hounds.
