Worth Noting: Starter Bruce Billings allowed 6 runs in 7 innings to take his 2nd loss. First baseman Daric Barton was one of the few bright spots in the River Cats’ lineup on Wednesday, collecting 2 hits, including a double, stealing a base and scoring one of Sacramento’s 2 runs on the night.

Outfielder Dusty Robinson clubbed his 8th homer and drove in 2 runs, and first baseman Tony Thompson, third baseman B.A. Vollmuth and outfielder Josh Whitaker contributed 2 hits apiece in the win.

Worth Noting: Starter Max Perlman had his rockiest outing of the year, allowing 7 runs on 11 hits in just 4 2/3 innings of work, but right-hander Drew Tyson came on to toss 3 1/3 innings of scoreless relief to earn the win. Outfielder Eliezer Mesa doubled and drove in 3 runs, and outfielder Rashun Dixon homered and drove in 2 to lead the Bees’ attack.
